Communications Policy

Communication Policy

The primary objective of the Policy is to facilitate a better understanding of the church’s mission, which is: “Reaching out to all people in order to baptize them with water and the Holy Spirit and to teach them the gospel of Jesus Christ; providing soul care and cultivating a warm fellowship in which everyone shall experience the love of God and the joy of serving Him and others.”

This Policy shall serve as a solid communication structure that will give every area of the Church adequate visibility.

The Policy also outlines how the Church will use web-based technology which has become a new frontier of communication, to communicate to its members. The Church will use social media platforms, in addition to traditional media (print and electronic), to communicate timely, accurate information and activities in a transparent and coherent manner.

Further, the Communication Policy outlines the channels and tools of communication and allocates responsibilities for communication to the various organs and officers of the Church.

Below are the District Apostle's thoughts on the communication policy:

The New Apostolic Church in District Apostle Area (DAA) 28 (Zambia, Malawi and Zimbabwe) is committed to effective two-way communication with brothers and sisters, stakeholders, and the media.

Addressing the concerns of our members and stakeholders, the New Apostolic Church in DAA 28 shall provide the necessary communication infrastructure to ensure that information reaches members and all other stakeholders using the most effective means. We shall also undertake stakeholder surveys to gauge perceptions so that our communication is relevant to the members and all other stakeholders.

This policy shall serve as a solid communication structure that will give every area of the Church adequate visibility. To ensure that the Church takes advantage of web-based technology which has become a new frontier of communication, with wider consultation, we intend to provide social media platforms, in addition to traditional media (print and electronic). This is to ensure that our web based communication strategy is timely, accurate and is focused on creating mutual understanding with our members and all other stakeholders and shall ensure that our products and services are available through the different interactive fora.

The Policy will ensure that the New Apostolic Church in Zambia, Malawi and Zimbabwe acknowledges the importance of communication as a strategic management function and as an integral part of its day to day operations.

Today’s environment requires that the Church communicates its policies and programmes to stakeholders in a transparent and coherent manner.

Further, the Communications Policy outlines the channels and tools of communication and allocates responsibilities for communication to the various organs and officers of the Church. The primary objective of the Policy is to facilitate a better understanding of the church’s mission which is; “reaching out to all people in order to baptize them with water and the Holy Spirit and to teach them the gospel of Jesus Christ. Providing soul care and cultivating a warm fellowship in which everyone shall experience the love of God and the joy of serving Him and others.”

It is my sincere hope that members and all other stakeholders will find this communication policy useful as it streamlines communication in the church.

I wish you all God’s richest blessings.

Charles S. Ndandula

District Apostle
