New Apostolic Church – Livingstone Apostle Area
The Livingstone Apostle Area of the New Apostolic Church, which comprises 157 congregations, recently marked an important milestone in its continuing effort to strengthen the spiritual and educational growth of its children. At present, 70% of the congregations have received complete Sunday School teaching materials, showing steady progress toward the church’s goal of providing well-structured Christian education across the region.
On 20 September 2025, a special ceremony was held to officially hand over the Sunday School lesson schedules to teachers serving in the Livingstone Apostle Area. In his address, Area Apostle Michael Macha emphasized the importance of safeguarding and using the schedules responsibly, noting that their production was made possible through the careful use of public funds. He explained that these lesson schedules are vital for ensuring consistency and quality in the spiritual instruction of children and should therefore be treated with care and respect.
After the handover, the Apostle, together with church leaders and invited guests, visited the Resource Centre to inspect the newly acquired equipment and educational materials that will support the Sunday School’s ongoing work. This visit highlighted the church’s commitment to improving both learning and administration within the Apostle Area.
The Resource Centre has been equipped with resources valued at K30,210, distributed as follows:
Equipment: K28,300
Reams of paper: K1,910
In his remarks, the Apostle explained that the funds for these purchases were raised through a combination of fundraising activities and contributions from the districts. He stressed that this investment reflects the church’s strong dedication to nurturing the faith and moral development of its young members, ensuring they receive a firm spiritual foundation to guide them into responsible and God-fearing adulthood.
This occasion stands as a clear example of the unity and dedication of the New Apostolic Church in the Livingstone Apostle Area, and of the shared commitment of its congregations to create a well-equipped environment for Christian education. The Apostle concluded by expressing sincere appreciation to all members and contributors whose sacrifices and financial support made these achievements possible. He called on teachers and leaders to continue working together in faith, stewardship, and love to secure a strong future for the church’s children.
